Reliable opinion
I repair engines, mainly from scooters and mopeds. Up to now, I have been installing piston rings by hand. While there were no problems with scraper rings, there was a problem with sealing or scraper-sealing rings. One had to be very careful not to damage the new rings. With these pliers, you can safely and simply bend the ring and then seat it on the piston...

I repair engines, mainly from scooters and mopeds. Up to now, I have been installing piston rings by hand. While there were no problems with scraper rings, there was a problem with sealing or scraper-sealing rings. One had to be very careful not to damage the new rings. With these pliers, you can safely and simply bend the ring and then seat it on the piston. The tool greatly improves installation, reduces time and, in my opinion, is one of the first tools an engine repair person should equip himself with.
